It all began at a very early age, when I fell in love with John “Cougar” Mellencamp and Tom Petty, listening to the radio as a little boy. Like so many others I would try to record songs I liked. Dobie Gray, “Drift Away” was one I really loved and still do. Radio is the glue that connects a community and gives people the one thing we can all use more of. Music. It’s the vibrations of the music and the airwaves that provide us the soundtrack of our lives. The good vibrations that we put out into the world, come back around to us all, eventually. My philosophy is that the artists and the DJ’s are the stars of this show we call radio.

Lucas is currently considering new clients for representation and service to Americana and Adult Album Alternative radio. Each client is a case by case basis and pricing will be discussed over the phone. Albums need to be a high quality, commercial recording, with professional mix and mastering in a studio environment. Services include: preparation and guidance for release to radio, creation and writing of press release, and promotion to the Americana and or AAA radio chart(s). Artists who are interested can also work with Lucas on major label distribution of their music to streaming platforms/online retailers and consultation on ways to expand your brand and footprint.

Operated in partnership with CDX Nashville, and the Americana Music Association, the Americana Music Chart is comprised of 85+ reporting radio stations. All of them have many decision makers and receive a lot of requests. We dial in the radio stations most likely to play your music and cut through the noise to get your album the attention it deserves.
Triple A
(Adult Album Alternative)
Not a new format, but new to CDX airplay monitoring, artists now have the option to send music to AAA stations. These stations lean more into Alternative Rock and Contemporary music, as opposed to roots based music on the AMA chart. This is a great way for crossover artists to market their music to fans with a more eclectic listening taste.
